The Mansion House

There are 23 ensuite mansion house bedrooms and three standard bedrooms with a mixture of twin, double and family occupancy. Many of the bedrooms offer magnificent views towards Stirling.

A lift services all floors and guests can take a trip in it to the roof terrace by arrangement, where breathtaking 360 degree views of the spectacular surrounding scenery can be seen.

Guests dine in Terrace View Restaurant that can cater for up to 250 people and looks out over 20 miles to Stirling Castle.

The guest house contains many eye-catching features, including the large entrance hall with impressive fireplace and sandstone balcony with views that stretch 25 miles.

The period decorative detail and historic character in many of the rooms contrast with the sharp contemporary décor in others offering guests a unique atmosphere.

Guests can relax in the Cedar Lounge or Cayzer Lounges beside the log fire and look out on the terraces , or spend a quiet moment in the library.

Set in 75 acres of private grounds our guests are free to enjoy a stroll  in the many paths and trails or visit the walled garden currently being restored for the use of the house.

Our site is now heated by biomass, which provides all our heat and hot water for guests using a woodfuel boiler that runs on woodchip from locally grown timber from sustainable forests within a 10 mile radius, and significantly reducing our carbon footprint. For more details click here.
