Watercolour Painting Holiday

A watercolour painting holiday at Gartmore House will inspire the artist in you - budding or experienced - and provide the opportunity to improve your skills in relaxed company and comfortable surroundings.  Painting projects indoor and outside led by our expert tutor, small classes and personailsed instruction.

Patchwork & Quilting Holiday

Our patchwork and quilting holidays are designed to appeal to both the seasoned and novice quilter.  From our studio with its panoramic views, explore two techniques for Card Trick designs: Truly Traditional - a method to construct blocks suitable for panels for bags, cushions or small wall hangings/quilts or Super Speedy - a technique to construct quilts from cot to kingsize.

Alternatively or additionally, bring along your U.F.O's! (unfinished objects) to work on with lots of helpful friendly advice and encouragement.

Learn more about the techniques and tips from our expert tutor.
