Christmas Crafts Break

Join us for a fabulous festive Christmas Crafts Break at historic Gartmore House – opt for either a weekend or 5-night stay. Enjoy immersing yourself in all things Christmassy whilst making lovely decorative items to embellish your home.

Settle into your cosy en-suite room and that evening meet your tutor and fellow crafters, and enjoy a delicious 3-course dinner. Full board is included throughout your stay; all you need to do is relax and put your feet up! During the holiday you will learn an array of skills including: flower arranging, cracker making, simple tin-work, wire-work and simple stitching with felt.

We will be making innovative decorative door wreaths and table centre pieces and creative Christmas crackers plus an array of other simple yet stylish decorations. We will focus on being festively environmentally friendly, and having a lot of fun recycling, reusing and repurposing whilst creating really lovely Christmas memories. New and varied projects are added every year to keep the celebrations fresh.

Your tutor Clare Workman is a professional textile artist with years of training and experience in a wide range of textile arts and crafts. Clare loves to share her knowledge and skills through teaching in friendly and relaxed workshops where her focus is on everyone achieving the joy of making.
