“I don’t often see stained glass classes offered near me, so the chance to come on holiday to Gartmore to try the craft was really exciting.”

About The Course

We’re no stranger to stained glass here at Gartmore House. We’re lucky enough to have several pieces adorning our entry way and several of our doors. It’s a truly spectaular artform and we’re delighted to add stained glass classes to our holiday programme.

If you’ve ever been curious about trying out a stained glass class for the first time, then why not come on holiday to Gartmore House where you’ll be able to spend 4 days immenseing yourself in the craft. A 5-night stay with us will give you all the time you need to create a stunning final piece that you can take home and treasure forever.

Join us at Gartmore and experience the magic of a stained glass class. You’ll be amazed at what you can create when you have the space and space to embrace your creativity.
Our stained-glass holidays appeal to both beginners and those who already have some experience of working in glass. Tutor Alan Lewis’ ‘hands-on’ approach to individual tuition ensures that no-one will feel they are being left behind. His infectious enthusiasm for the craft results in students returning to his classes again and again.

By the end of the week you will have completed an A4 sized piece of stained-glass art to keep and cherish for years to come.

Please note: Due to the nature of the course and materials used, we cannot accommodate those who are pregnant and haemophiliacs.
