Crafting at Christmas
We have Christmas all wrapped up for you. We’re offering a wonderful and unique festive package. You can now stay with us over the festive period! Bring your paint brushes, knitting needles, sewing machine or whatever tickles your fancy and work on your own projects at your leisure.
Arriving on 23rd December, you will have time to settle into your room, enjoy some afternoon tea, or take a walk around the grounds to stretch your legs before meeting your fellow guests in the lounge just before dinner.
For the next 6 nights you have the run of the House, making use of our beautiful workshop rooms where you can mix with the other house guests and enjoy your art or craft at your own leisure. You never know, one of your fellow guests may have brought with them a similar craft – so you can happily share knowledge, hints and tips.
When your creative juices are running low or you’ve done enough exploring around the House and grounds, enjoy demonstrations from our in-house tutors and local artists during your stay, to give you an insight to a possible new craft! We also have some optional Christmas festivities for you to enjoy throughout your stay. From a Christmas Eve church service, to a Christmas pantomime, and musical evening entertainment.
And of course, a Christmas break would not be Christmas without the aroma of glorious mulled wine and most importantly a delicious traditional Christmas lunch. There are numerous walks around the grounds to work off that Christmas pudding, with some stunning views for the all-important Christmas snaps.
What better way to spend the Yuletide holidays than with fellow crafters?!
The above is based on single occupancy of an en-suite room on a full board basis. A £100 per person discount is applied for shared occupancy.
