Jewellery Making Holidays

Jewellery making weekend at Gartmore House are run by local jeweller Jo Pudelko.

This workshop is an ideal introduction to making rings out of silver, and an opportunity to learn the basic techniques of jewellery making, including saw piercing and soldering. The course will begin with a demonstration of how to make a basic ring out of wire.

Students will practice this technique before moving on to make their own individual rings. Different textures and finishes can be applied to allow each student to create an individually designed set of rings.

Base metals and a set amount of silver are provided (more silver can be purchased at cost price) and your tutor Jo will be on hand to work with you one-to-one, guiding you through the design and creation of your rings.
